This Saturday (4/26/08), A Bowl of Good will be introducing a new Cold Lentil Salad; ingredients include currants, capers, and red onions, and is wonderfully spiced with India flavors. It is a fantastic accompaniment to a plate of fresh spinach.

Of course she will have her soups, breads, and hummus there but we should note two things:

1. Grandma Shoonies Fennel Bread sells like hotcakes – get there early.
2. The newly introduced Smok’n Cuban Black Bean soup is making a huge splash. Pick up some market fresh tomatoes and mix in a bit of sour cream and this soup/stew is irresistible.
