Today at 4:00 (ESPN), H-burg’s very own, Kristi Toliver will try and advance U. of Maryland to the Elite Eight.  ACC player of the year and winner of the NCAA Women’s B-Ball tournament, she’s in her senior year and playing like every game is her last – b/c it could be!  Not since Ralph Sampson has H-burg seen an athlete with such national recognition and amazing talent.

We thought since the DNR doesn’t give nearly as much love to her as it ought, we’d highlight her in our humble page.  If anyone can get a message out to her or her family, let them know she has a Bowl of Good soup waiting for her on the house.

Drab, huh?  It’s a soup kind of day if I’ve ever seen one.

This Saturday there will be a Downtown Harrisonburg Farmers Market; we will be selling.  As an extra incentive we’re offering a SOUPer Sale!  Lunch box sized soups (8 or 12 oz) will be for sale at $1.00/each (while supplies last).  See you there under the dry shelter, rain or shine!
