We’re gearing up for the Haiti Fundraiser/Awareness Day.  We’re hanging Haitian art like this:

Between 5 PM and 9 PM we will be serving exclusively Haitian food – ALL proceeds will be going to either MCC Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund or HELPS International Water Filters.  We are thankful to the following for helping us make this happen: Artisans Hope; Taste of Thai/Oriental Market for the plaintains and papaya; Mike Reno’s EMU Print Shop for flyers; Tom Hayman’s “Grains of Sense” coffee; and our wonderful staff who are volunteering between 5 and 9 to serve you.

Throughout the day and up until 5 you will be able to order Haitian food specials in which a portion of the sale will go to the relief efforts.  We look forward to seeing you this Thursday.
