Our Community Place Fundraiser

You may recall how last year at this time and even the year before, A Bowl of Good hosted a fundraiser to support the people of Haiti still struggling to recover from the earthquake (see this ABOG video here: http://vimeo.com/22037801). This year we are partnering with Our Community Place (OCP) to help them in their local work and 25% of proceeds will go to help the La Gonave community in Haiti. Join us this Saturday at OCP from 5:30pm to 8pm.

Below is the invitation from OCP
——————————–
CP invites you to a Night Out!, where you can get a delicious meal, not have to clean up afterward, AND support the community all at the same time. Night Out! is held at OCP (17 East Johnson Street) from 5:30pm to 8pm (a change from the usual 5pm to 8pm for this month only) on Saturday, January 14th.
This month Night Out! features A Bowl of Good.

For your dining pleasure, we prepare a meal full of

flavorful choices – four courses in all! Instead of choosing to go out to just any restaurant that night, join this delightful OCP fundraiser. Bring a friend, bring family, bring the one you love the most and experience Our Community Place’s Night Out.

Suggested donation is $15/person… but it’s ok if you want to pay more : ) 25% of proceeds go to help La Gonave, a community in Haiti, where folks usually eat one plate of rice every other day.
